Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the original in-person debut showing at the Hoogland has been cancelled.

Directed by Hope Cherry and sponsored by Heartland Credit Union and the Ken Bradbury Foundation, The Spirit of Lincoln recounts the real-life stories of people affected by Abraham Lincoln's spirit and ideologies, while exploring the themes of friendship, bravery, racism and social justice that are still relevant today. Audiences will experience first-hand the lasting impact Lincoln and Bradbury had on their central Illinois community and beyond. This theatrical piece was staged and filmed without an audience in October 2020. Filming and editing were completed by UMEDIA, Inc. Studios (Springfield, IL).
