CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS IN CLAYVILLE

Join our partners at the Clayville Historic Site on December 11, 3 pm - 9 pm, for their Candlelight Christmas in Clayville, near Pleasant Plains, Illinois. Built in 1824, Clayville is the oldest brick building in Sangamon County and the second oldest in Illinois. In the 1840's, Clayville was a gathering place for the Whig Political Party. The little settlement was named after Henry Clay who they nominated for US President.
