Preserving the Mount Pulaski Courthouse

The Mount Pulaski Courthouse is one of only two remaining courthouses where Abraham Lincoln practiced law on the 8th Judicial Circuit. The courthouse located in the center of the town square in downtown Mt. Pulaski and a vital part of the community.

Tom Martin and Jamie Jones will share how a group of volunteers came together to help support, sustain, and preserve the Mount Pulaski Courthouse State Historic Site. Tom Martin is the former chairman of the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation and was instrumental in the establishment of Looking for Lincoln and the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area. Jamie Jones is the current chairman of the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation.
